The Sauer 202 Hardwood is a rifle built to deal with any environmental condition the hunter may encounter. With a stock made of a black synthetic soft touch polymer this rifle is impervious to rain, snow and harsh weather conditions, yet still has the ability to maintain the high level of accuracy shooters have come to expect in the Sauer 202 rifle. The stock has a Monte Carlo style cheek piece and a distinctive Schnabel forend tip. All metal parts are coated with the proprietary Illaflon coating that makes the rifle nearly indestructible.
The Sauer 202 rifle has a modular barrel-change system which allows to change between calibers easily.
The triangular yellow insert in the rear sight provides optimum eyeguidance. In combination with the illuminated red front bead, this

TWO-PART STOCK
After removal of the front sling swivel, the fore-end is easily detached by releasing the screws with the long hexagonal key and small 90° key supplied with each weapon. The same applies to the butt stock: here, the screw is accessed by inserting the key into a small hole in the rubber butt plate. Detaching the butt stock reduces the length of transportation or
allows the exchange of stocks.

SIX LOCKING LUGS
The bolt opens smoothly at an angle of 60° with no risk of jamming. Six lugs lock the bolt directly into the special steel barrel. Barrel and calibre changes are possible within the calibre category.

SAFETY
The safety acts on the trigger and the cocking piece. Safety application can be seen or felt on the upper wrist and is released easily and silently directly in front of the trigger. When opening the chamber, it automatically enables the set trigger.
