Model 1771 German Stock
Anschütz enjoys the highest reputation in sport shooting, our rifles stand for unsurpassed precision and robustness, they are valued by top athletes all over the world.
The Anschütz 1771 uses all these attributes for hunting shooting or hunting competition. Equipped with a silky-smooth trigger weight, which can be customised from 300 g to 800 g, the particularly quiet and rapid bolt movement and the cylindrical precision barrel, the 1771 is a hunting rifle for the transition zone between sport and hunting: it meets the needs of both areas.
FEATURES:
Barreled Action:
The 1771 features a traditional centerfire bolt layout with utilizing a three-lug bolt directly to the barrel; allowing a quick, short 60° bolt throw. The action is extraordinarily smooth and fast to function. It is equipped with an 0.43" wide, V-block riflescope mounting dovetail rail and a picatinny rail. There are additional drilled and tapped holes provided for scope mounting bases and rings. The one-piece firing pin has a defined end-stop area to prevent damage from dry firing.
Bolt:
.17 Hornet and .22 Hornet utilize a single-row three-lug bolt. For .222 Rem and .223 Rem calibers, a double-row bolt is supplied. The optimized chamber lock enables ergonomic and completely silent operation without effort. Simply press lightly on the locking bolt and simultaneously move the locking slide forwards or backwards. The chamber lock provides an additional safety feature for dog handlers, during searches and stalking.
Safety:
The cocking mechanism features gas vent holes, which in the event of cartridge failure, directs the gas safely to the side. The right-hand side, sliding safety catch, blocks the trigger sear in the safe position. The ergonomically designed safety catch is easily and silently operated. The bolt can also be opened in the safe position, allowing unloading the firearm with the safety engaged.
Trigger:
Our hunting triggers are hand crafted to the same precision as the match triggers in the ANSCHÜTZ target rifle. The low-weight, hardened and finely polished triggers enable a fast and precise release of the trigger. The target two-stage trigger found in the 1727 has set the standard for quality, reliability, and precision. It is not without reason that ANSCHÜTZ triggers are known as the best in the world. A master¬piece of the German Gunsmiths art.
Barrel:
The barrels are manufactured using the same special process perfected for the ANSCHÜTZ target rifles. The same also applies to the manufacturing process of the chamber. Detail is given to the fitting of the receiver and the counterbore at the muzzle.
German Stock:
Oiled walnut stock, light German style stock with German cheek piece, Schnabel forend tip, non-slip checkering on the pistol grip and forend with borders. With black rubber butt pad and sling swivel studs.
