This is the foundation on which all Benelli M4 Auto-Regulating Gas-Operated (A.R.G.O) semi-automatic shotguns are built. The A.R.G.O. system makes them fast cycling and ultrareliable. Optimized for tactical response and personal defense, the M4 features a tactical stock, adjustable rear ghost-ring site, windage-adjustable front sight, and a Picatinny rail for a light or optics.
The M4 comes standard with a 47-cm (18.5-in) barrel and a 5-shot magazine tube. The special telescopic stock lets you shorten the length of the firearm by 13-cm (5.1-in) by pushing a button. Versatility is enhanced by its interchangeable stocks: fixed stock and pistol grip stock, both made of technopolymer reinforced with glass fibres, can be replaced with no need for tools. The butt plate at the end of the stock helps additionally reduce the modest recoil perception of the shotgun. To fully benefit of its accuracy, the M4 is equipped with a fixed blade front sight protected by side wings and an adjustable diopter. The sights can be equipped with luminescent markers for shooting in poor light.
