These Tip-off mounts are designed to be used with the 45º angle Z rail scopes. The mounts give a low overall height with the height of the bases being only 7mm. The 2 Tip off blocks have a weaver/picatinny profile and are mounted onto the rail and tightened using Quick Detachable Polyform Levers.
The lever can be positioned in the direction you want it to be. So once tightened, you can remove the lever using the supplied 0.9mm wrench and position it in a certain direction. The theory being that it will be a very similar tension each time you tighten the up the lever, which makes for a more repeatable mount.
7mm height is measured from the top of the base to the bottom of the scope rail.
