The STEYR Monobloc – LEADING TECHNOLOGY MEETS NOBLE DESIGN
The revolutionary one-piece bolt action rifle provides more stability hence more precision. As the name implies, the receiver, chamber and barrel are cold hammer forged as one piece which eliminates possible inaccuracies which arise in a traditional rifle where the barrel is attached to the receiver as two separate parts. This process also makes the action lighter and stiffer which in turn increases accuracy.
Steyr uses a DLC (diamond-like carbon coating) finish on the barreled action. This is a nanocomposite coating that has unique properties of natural diamond low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance.
The newly developed aluminium synthetic stock with handcrafted leather elements on the forend, cheek-piece and pistol grip which offers a perfect grip angle and an elegant design. The core of the stock is a full aluminum chassis, shielded in an ergonomic weatherproof synthetic outer stock.
The trigger unit can be easily removed without tools and stored in the butt. The butt plate can also be removed in a few easy steps and can be customised to personal requirements. A successful innovation for modern hunters.

Hand Cocking System (HCS) – The Steyr Hand Cocking System (H.C.S. ™) is operated by the thumb allowing the user to manually cock the internal firing mechanism and also enhances safety by allowing for manual de-cocking of the firing pin. This system will also allow you to lock the bolt to prevent it from accidentally opening.
DLC Finish: DLC Coating stands for diamond-like carbon coating, and is a nanocomposite coating that has unique properties of natural diamond low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance. It is highly resistant against scratching and offers an elegant matt surface.
Stock: Full aluminum chassis encased in a synthetic outer shell. The outer shell is available in 4 different colors and the leather inlays for the forend, pistol grip and cheek rest can be interchanged for different colors. The butt pad easily flips open to allow access to a storage pocket inside the buttstock. Handy to store the removeable trigger group, or other necessities during a trip to the field. An optional high cheek rest is available as well as spacers for the butt pad to increase the length of pull.
